About the Game

Overview

Game Tengoku was a popular vertically scrolling shooting game which appeared in arcades in 1995.
Following that, there was a console release in 1997 full of extra features. And now, with help from the original development team,
that console release has been ported, localised and more in the new Special version!

We have English subtitles, menus and more so the game is finally fully playable (even if the plot is still nonsense!), new BGM
for all characters (Arcade Mode+/Time Attack) and a new sound test to check all the additions out too.
There's online leaderboards and Arcade Mode +, a mode which brings the feeling of playing on the arcade's vertical screen home!
On top of that, there's new characters, like Clarice too (now with added bomb/s)!

Story

The self-proclaimed "Super Duper Genius Smart Guy" Yamada is planning to take over the gaming world! In his first step towards world domination he's taken control of all the arcade cabinets at the “You&Me Kamiyoga” arcade in Kamiyoga, Tokyo! But part-time arcade employee Yui Ito is ready to take him on! Determined to put an end to his nefarious scheme before the arcade opens, she hastily hacks together all the used arcade circuit boards she has lying around and calls upon all the main characters to take down this evil genius!
